NOBOWA Farm Estimator

Terms of Use

Terms governing use of the NOBOWA Farm Estimator, accounts, estimates, reports, payments and report credits.

Version 1.1Effective 30 September 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the NOBOWA Farm Estimator, including free estimates, saved scenarios, Full Investment Reports, report credits, account services and related features.

The NOBOWA Farm Estimator is operated by Nobowa A & K Limited. NOBOWA and Nobowa Africa are public-facing brand references used by the company, while NOBOWA Farm Estimator is the product covered by these Terms.

By creating an account, using the Estimator, purchasing a report or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. Where the platform requests an express acknowledgement, that acknowledgement forms part of the agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a Full Investment Report or purchase report credits.

By using the service, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into an agreement with NOBOWA.

3. Purpose of the Estimator

The NOBOWA Farm Estimator is a farm-planning and decision-support tool. It uses commodity-specific models, reference assumptions, information supplied by users and other relevant data to estimate farm investment and operating outcomes.

Estimates and reports support planning and analysis. They are not guarantees of future financial, commercial or agricultural performance.

  • startup investment and funding requirements
  • operating and production costs
  • production and revenue
  • profitability and operating balance
  • break-even values and cash recovery
  • lifecycle performance and selected investment risks

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it.

You must provide reasonably accurate information and must not impersonate another person, misuse another person's account or create an account for fraudulent purposes.

You should notify NOBOWA promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

5. Information you provide

The quality of an estimate depends partly on information entered into the Estimator.

You are responsible for checking information you provide, including farm size, production scale, location, input prices, selling prices and other assumptions.

Where reliable local or project-specific information is available, users are encouraged to replace reference values with current information.

NOBOWA is not responsible for inaccuracies caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by a user.

6. NOBOWA reference assumptions

Where users do not provide their own information, the Estimator may use NOBOWA reference assumptions derived from market checks, agricultural research, technical publications, supplier information, industry information, historical observations, production standards or other relevant sources.

Reference values may be associated with a particular model version, location or reference date.

Agricultural prices, productivity and operating conditions can change. A reference value should therefore be treated as a planning assumption rather than a representation that the value will remain current.

7. Free estimates

NOBOWA may make some Estimator functionality available without charge.

Free estimates may contain less detail than paid Full Investment Reports.

NOBOWA may change the scope or availability of free functionality for future use.

8. Full Investment Reports

A Full Investment Report provides expanded analysis for a particular estimate.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Full Investment Report is associated with the specific estimate for which it was unlocked.

Changes to an estimate may affect report calculations and conclusions. The availability of an updated report without an additional credit depends on the report-entitlement rules displayed by the Estimator at the relevant time.

Purchase of one report does not create a subscription unless the customer expressly purchases a subscription product.

9. Report credits and report packs

Report packs may provide credits that can be used to unlock eligible Full Investment Reports.

  • Credits belong to the account that purchased or received them.
  • Credits are not transferable between accounts unless NOBOWA expressly permits it.
  • Credits have no cash value outside the NOBOWA platform.
  • Credits do not currently expire unless different terms are expressly disclosed before purchase.
  • Changes to future report prices do not cancel credits already validly acquired.

10. Prices and electronic purchases

The price and principal characteristics of a paid Estimator product will be displayed before the customer is asked to proceed with payment.

Prices displayed at the time of purchase apply to that transaction unless an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

NOBOWA may change prices for future purchases.

Payment may be processed through a third-party payment provider. A purchase is treated as paid only after successful transaction confirmation.

Before completing an electronic purchase, the customer should have an opportunity to review the selected product, price and relevant transaction information and to return or cancel before payment is concluded.

11. Immediate digital performance

Full Investment Reports are digital services and products that may be generated or made available immediately after successful payment or use of a valid report credit.

Where applicable law gives a consumer a cancellation or grace-period right, NOBOWA will not treat these Terms as removing that statutory right.

Where a customer expressly asks or consents for performance of a digital service to begin immediately, the legal consequences of that immediate performance will be governed by applicable Ghanaian law and the Payments, Refunds & Report Credits Policy.

12. Refunds and statutory consumer rights

Refunds, duplicate transactions, failed delivery and report-credit issues are governed by the NOBOWA Payments, Refunds & Report Credits Policy together with applicable Ghanaian law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Where a statutory right and these Terms are inconsistent, the applicable statutory right prevails.

13. Permitted use of reports

A customer may use a Full Investment Report for legitimate purposes including personal farm planning, business planning, financing discussions, bank applications, partner discussions and investor discussions.

A report may be shared with parties involved in evaluating the customer's proposed project.

Users may not resell, white-label, systematically reproduce or commercially redistribute NOBOWA reports, models or Estimator content without written permission.

14. Intellectual property

The NOBOWA Farm Estimator, its software, design, models, methodologies, branding, report formats, content and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to NOBOWA.

Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to users.

15. Prohibited use

Users must not use the service to commit fraud, interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorised access, systematically extract protected data, reverse-engineer restricted components, misuse another person's account, circumvent payment controls or use NOBOWA intellectual property in an unauthorised commercial product.

16. No guaranteed results

Agriculture involves commercial, environmental and biological risk.

Actual outcomes can differ from estimates because of factors including input prices, selling prices, weather, disease, mortality, crop failure, yields, genetics, feed quality, management practices, labour, infrastructure, market access, financing costs and regulatory requirements.

The Estimator does not guarantee any particular revenue, profit, production level, break-even period, cash-recovery period or return on investment.

17. Professional advice

NOBOWA estimates and reports do not constitute financial, investment, legal, accounting, tax, veterinary or other regulated professional advice.

Agronomic and production information supplied through the Estimator is for planning support and should not replace project-specific professional advice where such advice is appropriate.

18. Availability and changes

NOBOWA aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, security measures or circumstances outside NOBOWA's reasonable control.

NOBOWA may improve, modify or discontinue features as the platform evolves, subject to obligations relating to products already validly purchased.

19. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NOBOWA will not be liable for indirect, consequential or speculative losses arising solely from reliance on an estimate or report.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, NOBOWA's aggregate liability relating to a particular paid Estimator service will generally not exceed the amount paid to NOBOWA for that service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights where applicable law does not permit that exclusion, restriction or limitation.

20. Account suspension or termination

NOBOWA may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, material violations of these Terms or abuse of the platform.

Where reasonably practicable and lawful, NOBOWA will take account of existing paid entitlements when administering a restriction or termination.

21. Account deletion

Users may request deletion of their account.

Deletion may remove access to saved estimates, reports and other account-linked information.

NOBOWA may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, transaction, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or security purposes.

22. Complaints

Questions, complaints or disputes about the Estimator, an account, a purchase or a report may be submitted to NOBOWA at contact@nobowa.com.

NOBOWA will review complaints in good faith and may request information reasonably necessary to investigate an account or transaction.

Nothing in this complaints process prevents a consumer or data subject from exercising rights available under applicable Ghanaian law or from approaching an appropriate regulator or court.

23. Changes to these Terms

NOBOWA may update these Terms as the service, business or legal requirements change.

Each published version will carry a version number and effective date.

Where changes materially affect users' rights or obligations, NOBOWA may provide an appropriate notice or require renewed acceptance.

24. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

Disputes relating to these Terms or the NOBOWA Farm Estimator will be handled in accordance with applicable Ghanaian law.
