- Saved activity such as estimates, scenarios, report ownership, report-credit balances and related account activity.
- Transaction information such as transaction references, payment status, amount paid, products purchased and relevant reconciliation records.
- Technical information such as device or browser information, security-related IP information, logs, diagnostics and security events where collected.

3. Required and optional information
Some information is required to create or secure an account, process a payment, provide a purchased report or perform another service requested by a user. If required information is not provided, NOBOWA may be unable to provide that feature or complete the requested transaction.
Other information, including some profile details and user-supplied farm assumptions, may be optional. Optional information may nevertheless improve the relevance or precision of an estimate.
The Estimator should indicate required fields where practicable.
4. Why we use personal information
NOBOWA uses personal information to operate the Estimator, authenticate users, maintain accounts, save estimates, generate reports, process and reconcile purchases, administer report credits, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, improve products, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.
Where NOBOWA sends direct marketing communications, it will do so in accordance with applicable consent and electronic-communications requirements and will provide an appropriate way to stop receiving those communications.
5. Basis for processing
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary to provide a service requested by the user, perform an agreement, comply with a legal obligation, protect legitimate security or business interests, or take place with the user's consent.
Where consent is relied upon, users may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law and any processing that is independently justified on another lawful basis.
6. Recipients and service-provider categories
NOBOWA may disclose limited personal information to service providers where necessary to operate the Estimator.
- cloud-hosting, database and infrastructure providers
- authentication and account-security providers
- messaging and communications providers
- payment processors and transaction-reconciliation providers
- analytics, diagnostics and security providers where deployed
- customer-support and professional-service providers
- regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required or permitted by law
7. Payment information
Payments may be handled by external payment processors.
Those processors may independently collect payment credentials and other information needed to process a transaction under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
NOBOWA may receive transaction references, payment confirmation, amounts, payment status and related reconciliation information.
8. Automated Estimator calculations
The Estimator automatically processes information and assumptions to produce planning calculations, scenarios and reports.
These calculations do not by themselves constitute a binding lending, insurance, employment, credit or investment decision by NOBOWA.
If NOBOWA later introduces automated processing that forms the sole basis of a decision that significantly affects a person, the relevant privacy information and safeguards will be reviewed accordingly.
9. Security
NOBOWA uses reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their credentials, devices and verification messages.
10. Data retention
NOBOWA retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, transaction, security, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention requirements.
Account and profile information may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period after closure where necessary.
Saved estimates and report-entitlement records may be retained while required to provide account-linked access.
Transaction and accounting records may be retained for the period required for reconciliation, accounting, taxation, legal or dispute purposes.
Security, fraud-prevention and diagnostic records may be retained for periods appropriate to the relevant security purpose.
NOBOWA may adopt more specific retention periods as its operational retention schedule develops.
11. Your data rights
Subject to applicable law, a user may request information about whether NOBOWA processes personal information about them and may request access to relevant personal information.
A user may request correction of information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or otherwise subject to correction under applicable law.
A user may request deletion or destruction where NOBOWA no longer has lawful authority or a legitimate requirement to retain the information.
NOBOWA may need to verify the identity of a requester before disclosing, correcting or deleting account information.
Requests may be sent to contact@nobowa.com. NOBOWA will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements and may explain where a request cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled in full.
12. Account deletion
A request to delete an account may result in loss of access to saved estimates, reports and other account-linked information.
Certain transaction, security, fraud-prevention, legal or compliance records may need to be retained after account deletion.
13. International service providers
Some technology or service providers used by NOBOWA may operate infrastructure outside Ghana.
Where personal information is processed through international services, NOBOWA will use safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, the service and applicable legal requirements.
The specific technology-provider and tracking disclosures will be refined after NOBOWA completes its production technology and storage audit.
14. Cookies, local storage and analytics
The Estimator may use browser storage, security technologies, analytics or similar technologies where required for authentication, security, functionality, diagnostics or product measurement.
NOBOWA is conducting a production technology audit so that any dedicated cookie or technology notice reflects the systems actually deployed rather than generic assumptions.
Where consent is legally required for a technology, NOBOWA will implement the appropriate consent mechanism before relying on that technology for the relevant purpose.
15. Children
The NOBOWA Farm Estimator is intended for persons aged 18 years and above for account registration and paid transactions.
16. Data Protection Commission
Ghana's Data Protection Commission regulates compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Nothing in this Privacy Policy prevents a data subject from exercising a right available under applicable Ghanaian data-protection law or from contacting the appropriate regulatory authority.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the platform, its technology or applicable requirements change.
The current version and effective date will be displayed on the platform.
Material changes may be communicated to users and may require renewed acknowledgement where appropriate.
18. Contact
Privacy enquiries and data-rights requests may be sent to contact@nobowa.com.
