NOBOWA Farm Estimator
Payments, Refunds & Report Credits
How payments, digital report delivery, statutory consumer rights, refunds, duplicate payments and report credits are handled.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid NOBOWA Farm Estimator products, including Full Investment Reports, report packs and report credits.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Use and should be read together with applicable Ghanaian consumer law.
2. Information shown before purchase
Before a customer is asked to complete payment, NOBOWA aims to display the main characteristics of the product, the applicable price and the relevant purchase option.
The customer should have an opportunity to review the selected product and price and to return or cancel before the electronic transaction is concluded.
3. Payment confirmation
A payment is treated as successful only after NOBOWA receives or verifies confirmation that the transaction was completed.
A payment attempt that is pending, abandoned, reversed or unsuccessful does not by itself create a paid report entitlement.
4. Digital delivery
Full Investment Reports and report credits are digital products or services delivered through the user's NOBOWA account.
A report may be generated or made accessible shortly after successful payment confirmation or after a valid report credit is applied.
5. Consumer cancellation and grace-period rights
Nothing in this policy removes a cancellation, grace-period, refund or other consumer right that applies under Ghanaian law.
Ghana's rules for electronic transactions may provide consumers with cancellation rights for certain electronic services, subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.
Where a customer expressly requests or consents for a digital service to begin immediately, including generation or unlocking of a Full Investment Report, the effect of that consent on any cancellation right will be determined by applicable law.
NOBOWA will not rely on this policy to contract out of a statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Successfully delivered reports
Because Full Investment Reports may be generated or made available immediately, refund eligibility after delivery or access depends on applicable statutory rights, the circumstances of the transaction and whether immediate performance was expressly requested or consented to.
A statement that a report has been delivered does not override a refund or remedy that the customer is entitled to under applicable law.
7. Duplicate or erroneous payments
Where the same intended purchase is charged more than once, NOBOWA will investigate the transaction records.
A verified duplicate payment will normally be refunded or otherwise corrected, subject to the payment processor's settlement process and applicable law.
8. Paid service not delivered
If payment is confirmed but the purchased report or report credits are not delivered because of a NOBOWA technical or fulfilment failure, the customer should contact NOBOWA.
NOBOWA may restore the purchased entitlement, correct the account, regenerate access or provide an appropriate refund or other remedy.
Where applicable law requires a refund or other remedy, the statutory requirement prevails.
9. Report credits
- Report credits are linked to the account to which they are issued.
- Credits are not transferable unless NOBOWA expressly permits a transfer.
- Credits have no cash value outside the NOBOWA platform.
- Unused credits do not currently expire unless different terms are disclosed before purchase.
- Using a credit to unlock an eligible report reduces the available credit balance by the number of credits required for that report.
10. Report packs
A report pack provides the number of report credits stated at the time of purchase.
The price and number of credits displayed at checkout apply to that purchase unless an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
11. Updated estimates and existing report ownership
The availability of an updated or refreshed Full Investment Report without an additional purchase or credit depends on the entitlement rules implemented by the Estimator for that report.
NOBOWA will aim to describe those entitlement rules consistently in the product interface and legal documents.
12. Refund method and verification
NOBOWA may require reasonable transaction information to verify a refund request, including the account, transaction reference, amount and relevant purchase details.
Approved refunds will normally be returned through an appropriate payment method or another method agreed or required in the circumstances.
Processing time may depend partly on the payment provider or financial institution.
13. Fraud, abuse and charge disputes
NOBOWA may investigate suspected fraudulent transactions, payment abuse, unauthorised account activity or attempts to obtain both a delivered entitlement and an improper duplicate refund.
This does not prevent a customer from exercising legitimate statutory, payment-provider or cardholder dispute rights.
14. How to request support or a refund
Questions about a payment, duplicate charge, failed delivery, report credit or refund may be sent to contact@nobowa.com.
Customers should provide enough information for NOBOWA to identify the relevant account and transaction.
15. Statutory rights
This policy supplements applicable consumer rights and does not replace them.
Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory right or remedy under applicable Ghanaian law, the applicable law prevails.
