This is a National Poultry Vaccination Schedule released by the Ghana Veterinary Service Directorate to guide the vaccination of poultry to reduce disease incidence and outbreak.

This document was produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Ghana, Animal Research Institute, Ghana National Association of Poultry Farmers with support from United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Ghana Poultry Project (GPP)

AGE VACCINE (TYPE)
WEEK DAY
1 7 * Gumboro Intermediate
2 14   HB1
3 21   Gumboro Intermediate Plus
4 28   LaSota
5 35 ** Gumboro Intermediate / Plus
8 53   1st Fowl Pox
10 70   LaSota
12 84   2nd Fowl Pox
16 112 *** 3rd Newcastle Vaccine

Skip if parent was given Gumboro Maternalin Vaccine.

** Use (Intermediate Plus) if farm is Gumboro endemic.

*** Repeat Lasota / I-2 Vaccine / Inactivated Newcastle Vaccine every 3 months after 16weeks.
