Adesina also argues for the need to change their mindset of agriculture from a way of life for millions of rural people to a business.
In Africa, agribusiness and agro-industries account for more than 30% of national incomes as well as the bulk of export revenues and employment (Carlos Lopes, Africa Renewal). Scaling up agribusiness could be the next growth frontier.
