WHY

It will save you the time that could have been wasted on the field.
What you need
1. 100 seeds 2. A bowl or container 3. Water.

Put seeds in container and add some water, enough to keep your seeds moist and cover with a cloth.

Leave in a cool place for 3 days. Check daily for germination. Add more water if necessary.

After the 3rd day, pour seeds gently onto a clean spacious surface. Separate germinated seeds and count.

The number that germinated will represent the rate of germination. Eg. 50 germinated seeds means 50% rate of germination
85% to 100% means your seeds can be trusted to germinate.
