J&E Green Ways Farms Limited is a thriving agribusiness located in Afife and Tadzewu in Ghana’s Volta Region. Founded by Edinam Quashie, the company has grown from a humble 3-acre maize farm into a 30-acre enterprise focused on sustainable maize production and value addition.
By embracing climate-smart farming techniques such as crop rotation, soil health management, and efficient irrigation, J&E Green Ways Farms has significantly increased its maize yields. This success has enabled the company to process maize into high-quality corn flour, a staple in many Ghanaian households.
The farm has also become a vital source of employment and empowerment in the local community. Over the years, it has engaged more than 100 farmers and currently provides jobs for 20 casual women workers, three permanent male farmhands, and two full-time female staff who manage marketing and sales operations.
